"It was six months of prep & networking, and I believe it was the first organized perimeter-state rally-pilgrimage to builder gurus Indian Larry (RIP), Paul Cox, the Trosclairs, Eddie Trotta, Jesse Rooks, Russ Mitchell, Roland Sands, Chica, Arlen & Cory Ness, the Detroit Bros and other excellent bike designers! A lot of the guys rode with us for a stretch. Good times. It was 34 States, aching bones, a party in LA (thanks to Tommy Lee & Dave Navaro) and 9,000 miles of the world's greatest  blacktop in 28 days!"
